It’s no secret, I’m a sucker for a smoothie bowl. It’s such an easy way to sneak healthy add-ins into your diet, plus you can make them look all pretty if you’re into that sort of thing. But who am I kidding? These bowls are actually just my way of saying suck-it to adult life by eating ice-cream for breakfast.

The recipes below all start with the same base, and I usually just mix it up with whatever I have in the kitchen. Surprisingly quick and easy (contrary to popular belief) these blended bowls make for the perfect breakfast, or healthy sweet treat in the warmer months. With a quick blend of some frozen fruits or veggies, topped with crunchy, filling extras, the possibilities really are endless as to what you can create! Here are some of my favourites…

2 frozen bananas

1 tbsp Acai berry powder

1/2- 1 cup almond milk

1 tbsp chia seeds

Top with

hemp seeds

shredded coconut

goji berries

chia seeds

banana

strawberry

edible flowers

1 frozen banana

1 frozen apple (cubed)

frozen spinach

1/2 - 1 cup oat milk

Top with

flax seeds , hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds & sunflower seeds

fresh mint

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen mango chunks

1/2 cup frozen orange chunks

handful (about 1 cup) frozen baby spinach leaves

1/2 - 1 cup of water or milk alternative of your choice

Top With

fresh banana

almond flakes

toasted coconut flakes

a seed mix

fresh mango slices

1 tbsp Wazoogles Berry Flavour
